Anarchy is In-Folded in Democracy; &
Democracy Un-Folds Anarchy, eventually, as
Mutiny, Leading to Re-Organ-ization through Re-Form-ation!
On one summer afternoon in 2002, a professor of English revealed to me the converging nature of pin-hole fascinating me of light, optics and biology for there exist a world one cannot see with bare eyes. And ever since everything spanning from lenses, resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, DC motors, transformers, chemicals, electroplating, gases, alcohol, vacuum pumps, pulleys, telescopes, microscopes, cells and Genes, on which I can lay my hands on became very important.
In 2010 I was admitted to the degree of Bachelor of Science with distinction in Biotechnology, Microbiology and Chemistry by the Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Following which I secured a place to pursue Bachelor of Dental Surgery at MCODS, Manipal but parted shortly afterwards having realized greater interests for pure research philosophies.
I was among the eight candidates selected nationwide to be awarded the position of Junior Scholar by National Centre for Biological Sciences of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCBS-TIFR) in Bangalore in 2011. Here I was involved in four different research projects spanning Genetics of Development, Behaviour and biodiversity, Membrane Biophysics to Structural and Molecular Biology. I parted from this centre in 2012.
In 2013 I was provided with an opportunity by the State Science Forum (Jana Vignana Vedika, sponsored by NCSTC – DST, Union Republic of India) to write a Biology Classroom Activities Manual for school teachers of the State of A.P. for teaching classes VI and VII. And also was responsible to conduct two School Biology Teachers' training workshops of a total 100 teachers with methodologies and philosophies.
In 2015 I was admitted to the degree of Master of Science by thesis with Distinction in cellular and molecular biology of cancer by the University of Leicester, England. The six months research for my thesis was supervised by Professor Martin Bushell, the Deputy Director of the Medical Research Council, Toxicology Unit at Leicester (MRC–UK). The project investigated the role of ATP dependent DEAD box RNA helicase eIF4A2 in miRNA mediated translational repression.
Following which I voluntarily undertook a Research Assistantship from October of 2014 till January of 2015 at Keele University in the lab of Dr. Helen Price, a Molecular Parasitologist in Centre for Applied Entomology and Parasitology (CAEP, Keele) where I was involved in sub–cloning a construct into expression vectors for Leishmania major along with other routine laboratory activities. Dr.Helen Price investigates the role of BBSome complex, a structural component of flagellar motor machinery, in the virulence of the protozoan parasites like Leishmania and Trypanosoma.
Since July 2015 I am pursuing pre–doctoral research at the Max Delbruck Centre for Molecular Medicine (MDC of the Helmholtz Association) in Berlin where I investigate Oestrogen Induced Mammary Carcinoma (breast cancer) in a genetically exotic and unique Rat model system, the ACI strain by employing a Sleeping Beauty (SB100x) (a synthetic DNA transposon system) based insertional yet conditional mutagenic screen for factors causative of the same in the laboratory of Dr Zsuzsanna Izsvak. This experiment is undertaken following Political Clearance (G0123/14) by the Deutch Republic, reputed for having Codified The Toughest Animal Welfare Law in the world!
Above all I hope the information here motivates you into the world of Experimental Learning.
